[BadPanda116] Falcon Lake – Drown EP

leave a comment »

Falcon Lake is 21 year-old Leon Piers of Bristol, UK and he’s quietly been making a name for himself over the past year. The new EP drifts gorgeously between downcast slumber and upbeat, popping excitement. Keep your eyes on him and his new digital label, Gold Cult.

What do you think about music industry?

I think it has positives and negatives. The positives are obviously the amount of people now buying vinyl again and being able to send/share music so freely and easily. The downfalls obviously lie with illegal downloading and sharing. All in all though I think the future of the music industry is looking alot less bleak than 4-5 years ago.

What about Creative Commons?

I think it’s brilliant as it sets some guidelines on what artists are willing to allow people to do with their music. It’s a great way to share things freely without the worry of shameless plagiarism.

Any where that has good vibes and good music

Best concert attended?

Arcade Fire are my favourite live act…..

Where would you wish to wake up tomorrow?

In bed or on the dancefloor.
