What sound or noise do you love?

Hard to pick one – I sample a lot of sounds around my town – birds, traffic, rain, running water.. I find field samples to be really soothing. But as for a specific sound… my cat purring

What is your most recent extravagance?

I pretty much only blow money on music equipment and books, I don’t think either one of those is extravagant.. last week I ordered a new pair of headphones and a condenser mic, I can’t wait for them to arrive

What do you think about music industry?

Anyone that isn’t keeping up with the trends is getting left behind. But this applies to anything, doesn’t it? Either way, greed is always going to come back and bite you in the ass.

Favourite concert?

Split between Broken Social Scene or Braids. Still a lot of great shows I haven’t been able to see, living in the prairies and all.

Where would you wish to wake up tomorrow?

Somewhere warm. It’s getting cold here.
