Joel Hood – Campanero [mp3]

There’s a walkway underneath the train station not far from where I live. Along with the rumble of trains coming and going, there’s a weird ambient humming sound that seems to resonate down there, it’s a really nice relaxing sound which I listen to on my way home early in the morning after a night playing records in town with my friend Jimi Apples.

What is your most recent extravagance?

A new microphone, in the hope that it will make me sound better. Doubtful.

One quote?

One movie?

The Lives Of Others.

One book?

The Consolations Of Philosophy.

Which song do you listen to when you wake up?

From The Morning by Nick Drake.

Vega.

Kings Of Convenience, Benicassim in 2005.

Favorite place on earth?

Copenhagen.

Where would you wish to wake up tomorrow?

Dexa beach on the Greek Island of Ithaca.
